"Commedia dell'Arte" cabinet frame
Beautiful reproduction of a "Commedia dell'Arte" frame of the 19th century turned into a cabinet of curiosities. Handmade one by one in the C&S Davoy workshops, each perpetuates the tradition of frames produced in European factories and workshops during the Industrial Revolution period. Crafted like its ancestors on a wooden base, all the embellishments are molded papier maché.
These "Pastry-style" decorations have been a regular fixture in museums for the last two centuries.
